Wordless Wednesday: Things You See in a Trailer Park

My next-door neighbor, (subject of this poem) once again. This time she has a shopping cart out front.

… and this is the scene about an hour later. Now it makes sense.

  1. I’m laughing and cringing because I can relate. And this is the second time I can relate! I’m so ashamed.

We once walked a cart of groceries home. Hubs was driving truck then and I don’t drive. About 3 miles. Along a busy highway, back to the park. We didn’t want to ask our Korean war veteran neighbour who could barely walk, to pick us up-even though he yelled at us afterwards, lol- I just started to use cabs after that… We later hid the cart in our yard and there it stayed til we brought it back to the store under the cover of night before we moved here.

I swear, some things just come out of you when you live in a trailer park.
