Gardening in the Trailer Park: The First Sunflower

We believe it’s from the Autumn Beauty Mix seeds. Either that, or Strawberry Blonde Hybrid. Why am I not 100 percent sure? To make a long story short: Despite my meticulous record keeping about everything else we’ve seeded (Tom calls it anal), I’ve somehow mixed up the sunflower seeds. I took this pic just before 11 am.

Tom took this pic around 8:30 am out of the window of his truck before going to work. so, that is the first picture of the real bloom.

Here is what it looked like, just yesterday.

And on June 29, this sunflower looked like this. It’s a lower part of the branch, but the same plant.
